Kosten

The general costs for maintaining the coordination office for the BNN monitoring are financed by the participating companies with a graduated annual fixed amount. The costs for the pesticide analyses are billed directly by the monitoring system participants to the laboratories, and the cost of transporting the samples is also borne by the TM participants.

For the calculation of the BNN monitoring dry goods, the net sales of the previous calendar year for dry organic goods is used as a basis.

A one-time registration fee in the amount of one year's contribution (plus VAT) is charged to each participating company based on the first sales report to finance the monitoring database.

The annual fee is calculated as follows:

Annual sales up to 3 million euros (minimum fee): 3,000 euros or 1,500 euros for BNN members (plus VAT)

Annual sales > 3 million euros: 5,000 euros or 2,500 euros for BNN members (plus VAT)

For wholesalers, the turnover refers to the own brand(s). If there are no own brands, the lower fee rate applies automatically.
