The Bundesverband Naturkost Naturwaren e.V. (BNN) is a strong network of the organic industry with around 200 member companies. It is a home for both manufacturers and wholesalers, as well as independent and chain retailers.
The members of BNN advocate for ecology, sustainability, a fair and trustworthy relationship, and the best quality of organic foods and everyday goods. We represent the political and economic interests of the natural food industry. Another important task is the further development of quality standards for organic food and natural products.
From the shared understanding of quality of the three stages of production, wholesale, and retail, we are involved in national and European legislative processes on quality-related topics. These and other services help our member companies from production, wholesale, and retail to secure the quality of organic foods and natural products and to advise customers well in specialty stores.
